Welcome to the Roads and Town blog page!

Mark Schmid and Eric Stand are the moderators for this page.  Any GCBA member is welcome to use the "comment" function to post comments and suggestions regarding road conditions or relations with the Town of Lewisboro.

  • Following on the motion passed at the Membership Meeting of April, 2009, an online poll has been made available to the membership.  The purpose of this poll is to determine whether members are willing to consider paving portions of our dirt roads that have been historically difficult to maintain safely as determined by the Roads Committee.  Please cast your vote- one per household- by clicking on the link below.
  • Comments on the poll are being added to this page- the place for online discussion of Roads Committee issues. You must log in to add comments to this page.

Hey guys, just wanted to put in my two cents.  Lord knows the road committee has it bad, there is always going to be a problem somewhere and there will never be a time when everyone is happy.  Sometimes the roads are in bad shape but people need to remember that it's for a short time and we have all survived for years.  The benefits of dirt roads for us and our children totally out weigh the gain from paving.  I for one would rather pay to park my car at the train station and walk home everyday than see the roads paved.  Forge on....Scott
